Do you want to have a voice in running a program?  Do you like having responsibility?  Then JROTC is just for you.  JROTC is run mainly by the cadets in the program.  The instructors are there only to provide advice, guidance, and to settle the occasional dispute.  Other than that, with the approval of SAI and AI, the direction of the program is chosen by the cadets.  They  handle all the paperwork, drill, and staff work.
